Mental Floss
September 20th, 2007 | by Jeff Myers |A friend at work mentioned a trivia site she likes to visit called Mental Floss. I zipped on over to check it out and was pleasantly surprised to find some interesting facts about sleep disorders.
Strangely enough, when this is being posted, I will still be sleeping at a sleep research center, hooked up to a bunch of machines that go ping. I hope they do so very softly so I can sleep. My doctor is concerned that I may have a sleep disorder, which would explain a number of things.
I took a good look around Mental Floss, and found it to be a pretty enjoyable site. If you are a trivia buff, it’s certainly your cup of tea, so drink deep of your Earl Grey oh trivia master, and I will see you in dreamland.

I just got back from my sleep test and it was pretty odd trying to sleep with all the wires. There were sixteen wires attached to my skin and two breathing tubes for my nose and mouth, and this little HAL camera staring down at me all night. It was a very odd experience.

I felt like a Borg. I know I slept for a short time, but it couldn’t have been more than a couple of hours.
