The Metagamers are a little different than the other podcasts. You have to really be into boardgames even more so than with GG&G and Into the Gamescape. They talk about things like doing rules rewrites, auction mechanics, and downtime issues where the listener would be at a total loss with out extensive boardgame experience. @Ironcates: Into the Gamescape is another favorite. Very funny stuff. It’s like Hitchhiker’s Guide to Games. Haven’t listened to The Metagamers. I’ll check them out. You are missed on Tuesday nights, dude.

I’m glad you found this excellent podcast. The fact that it’s week after week and on schedule is wonderful. I enjoy their conversational style and it really grows on you.

A few others I’m really a fanboy of are:
D6 Generation (very long but entertaining throughout).
The Metagamers (they do in depth stuff that you just can’t find elsewhere).
Into the Gamescape (this British import really shines because the personalities really come through and you feel like they’d be a fun group to game with).
